SILLIMAN U GRADUATE GETS CASH REWARD

A GRADUATE of Silliman University received a cash reward for placing eighth in the Nursing Licensure Examination.

Shirnyl Hannah Magos got a score of 89.60.

She received a cheque for her cash reward of an undisclosed amount from the school through its president Dr. Betty Cernol McCann.

College of Nursing dean Dr. Theresa Guino-o, SU vice president for finance and operations Atty. Ebenezer Lim, and SU vice president for development, enterprise, and external affairs Prof. Jane Annette Belarmino were also present in the turnover ceremony.

The Professional Regulation Commission said 25,761 out of 32,203 passed the exam.

Twenty-seven schools were named top-performing schools for having at least 50 or more examinees and having at least 85% passing percentage.
