SILLIMAN U GRADUATE GETS CASH REWARD

A GRADUATE of Silliman University received a cash reward for placing seventh in the recent Physical Therapists Licensure Examination.

In garnering seventh place, Angel Megumi Quiamco got a score of 88.60.

She received a cheque for her cash reward of an undisclosed amount from the school through its vice president for academic affairs Dr. Earl Jude Paul Cleope.

Institute of Rehabilitative Sciences director Dr. Lily Ann D. Bautista and SU Office of the Registrar and Admissions officer Dr. Giovanni Macahig were also present in the turnover ceremony.

The Professional Regulation Commission said 1,288 out of 1,884 passed the exam.

Seven schools were named top-performing schools for having at least 50 or more examinees and having at least 80% passing percentage.
