THE SANTA Rita College of Pampanga declared a six-week academic break to give its students a breather amid the implementation of distance learning.

The break started on November 29, 2021 and will end on January 9, 2022.

The school said that the three-day furlough during the National Vaccination Days is not enough for its stressed and exhausted students.

“You have all worked hard this semester and you deserve to relax and spend time with your loved ones,” it said.

The students lauded the move with some saying that the break is much needed as online classes drain them.

Since schools shifted to remote learning, several student groups have been calling for academic breaks.
