SAN MATEO MUNICIPAL COLLEGE WARNS PUBLIC VS SCAMMERS
THE SAN Mateo Municipal College warned the public against individuals posing as its employees and soliciting money.
SMMC on Wednesday clarified that it is not asking students to pay miscellaneous fees.
It added that the college is a beneficiary of the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act or the free tuition program of the Commission on Higher Education.
SMMC released the statement after receiving reports that certain individuals asked students to wire them P5,000 for miscellaneous expenses.
