SAN BEDA U STUDENTS APPEAL FOR WEEK-LONG SUSPENSION OF CLASSES

/ 16 November 2020

THE STUDENT council of the San Beda University in Manila on Sunday has urged the school administration to suspend online classes for one week to give calamity-affected students and faculty time to recover.

The student council said that some students experience power outages and interruption, have damaged homes and properties and some were in evacuation centers.

As of press time, the San Beda University administration has no announcement for a further suspension.

Last week, the University of the East suspended all synchronous classes in its Manila and Caloocan campuses for six days after pleas from students affected by Super Typhoon Rolly and Typhoon Quinta.
