SAN BEDA TO CONFER HONORARY DEGREE ON MANILA MAYOR
THE COLLEGE of Law of San Beda University is set to confer an honorary doctor of law degree on Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso.
The school gives the honorary degree to individuals in recognition of their contributions to society and achievements in their own fields.
The conferment will be on December 12.
Domogoso will be the ninth person to receive such a distinction from the SBU College of Law.
The other recipients of the honorary degree were Andrew Gotianun (1994), former Supreme Court justice Florenz Regalado (1999), lawyer Mariano Camacho (1999), Hungarian chief justice Pal Solt (2001), former president Corazon Aquino (2001), former chief justice Hilario Davide Jr. (2002), former president Fidel Ramos (2016) and former Senate president Edgardo Angara (2018).
Previously, the SBU Graduate School of Business gave the Manila mayor a diploma for his “dynamic and excellent leadership of the Philippines’ capital.”
