THE SAN Beda College-Alabang has conferred on Supreme Court Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando its first ever Doctor of Laws, Honoris Causa.

His conferment was witnessed by Supreme Court Associate Justices Mario V. Lopez, Samuel H. Gaerlan, Japar B. Dimaampao, and Antonio T. Kho.

Hernando is an alumnus of San Beda College of Law and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1990.

He was admitted to the bar in 1992 and has since been part of the government.

Hernando has also been a professor of law in different schools like San Beda, Ateneo de Manila, University of Sto. Tomas and Far Eastern University, among others.

He joined the Supreme Court in 2018.
