RTU SUSPENDS CLASSES
THE RIZAL Technological University suspended classes from April 6 to 11 because of the extension of the enhanced community quarantine in the National Capital Region.
An advisory from the Vice President for Academic Affairs said that the suspension order covers synchronous and asynchronous classes from lower high school to college.
The school said that it allowed a break on response to the request of the Supreme Student Council and other student groups for a breather.
Students lauded the announcement, citing the administration’s openness to the needs of students amid the implementation of distance learning.
The university initially suspended classes from March 31 to April 4, 2021 in observance of Holy Week.
