THE SUPREME Student Council of the Rizal Technological University aired its support to former alumna Shaira Rona in her bid to join the 57th Edition of the Binibining Pilipinas.

Rona, who represents the city of Mandaluyong, is also an assistant instructor in the university. She earned a degree in Human Resource Development and Management and graduated with honors.

The 22-year-old advocates programs for children with cancer and chronic diseases.

To support Rona, the student council urged all students and members of the RTU to watch the pageant and vote for Rona.

“Binibining Pilipinas is going digital and in this 57th edition of the Binibining Pilipinas, you now have the power to vote!” RTU SSC said on its Facebook page.

“We would like to invite every Mandaleños and Mandaleñas, Family, Friends, and RTU Community to please cast your vote for SHARIA RONA your Binibini 9  and advance automatically to the FINALS! ” it added.

The pageant will be held on July 11 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
