ROMBLON STATE U GETS P5-M GRANT
THE DEPARTMENT of Science and Technology in MIMAROPA granted the Romblon State University cash aid to help it implement development projects.
The P5 million grant was received by the RSU Board of Regents.
“Around P5 million worth of grant-in-aid funds for research and development projects from DOST-MIMAROPA headed by Dr. Josefina P. Abilay through the DOST-PSTC office have been approved for implementation by the RSU Board of Regents,” a Facebook post by RSU-RSU-Redi, a page that publishes the school’s research projects, said.
It said that the grant will be used to build a water testing laboratory for E. coli.
The money will also be used for the design, development, and testing of bamboo laminated tabletops; design, development and testing of marble spool insulator, development of fusarium ear rot portable detection kit; and development and performance evaluation of tiger grass post-harvest technologies.
