PWU PREPARES FOR LIMITED F2F CLASSES
THE PHILIPPINE Women’s University on Tuesday said it will make adjustments for the possible resumption of limited face-to-face classes for all degree programs.
“The University continues to prepare for the eventual return of face-to-face classes with the guidelines imposed by the IATF, CHED, and the respective local government units,” the school said in a statement.
For now, PWU said it will continue to hold online classes.
The school, meanwhile, noted that preparations for limited in-person classes of its health and allied programs are underway.
Last week, the Commission on Higher Education announced limited in-person classes in all degree programs have been allowed for up to 50 percent capacity in areas under Alert Level 2.
CHED Chairman Prospero de Vera III said the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases gave the green light provided that schools will follow three conditions — students, faculty, and employees must be vaccinated; the local government is okay with it; and facilities must be retrofitted and inspected.
