AN EXTENSION program called “Education on Wheels” of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines was shortlisted for the Access, Diversity & Inclusion Award under the 2023 QS Reimagine Education.

The program was among the top 30% out of 1,200+ submissions.

“Malaking karangalan pong makilala ang ating initiative para mas mapalawak ang access to education dito sa ating bansa. To be recognized by a global award-giving body is also a badge of honor for PUP,” Dr. Manuel Muhi, University President, said.

“Good job sa ating EOW Team at sa lahat ng mga sumusuporta sa advocacy nating ito,” he added.

As part of the shortlisted initiatives, the project is entitled to use the official e-badge provided by QS Reimagine Education across all web, social, and printed channels.

The badge proudly displays the project’s achievement and emphasizes the significance of its impact in the education sector, according to PUP.

The EOW team also has the opportunity to further showcase their work at the Reimagine Education Awards & Conference, which includes a 2-minute video pitch hosted on the virtual platform, full access to the virtual platform, in-person conference, and Gala Dinner, as well as a five-minute in-person elevator pitch at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi in December 2023.
