STUDENTS of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines called for the release of graduation guidelines two weeks before the scheduled virtual ceremony.

The students said that they have yet to see the official list of those who will graduate.

PUP President Manuel Muhi said that aside from the virtual graduation on September 16, a physical recognition activity has been set.

The university has yet to release the date, venue and theme of the recognition ceremony, where thousands of students are expected to receive their diplomas.

“Parang hindi naman na deserved ng mga estudyante ng PUP ang napakahabang paghihintay para sa listahan ng latin honors or AT LEAST specific details nalang para sa graduation,” one student said.

“Maraming mga galing pang probinsya. may mga magulang na OFW at nag-aalangan na umuwi para sa kanilang anak dahil maraming papeles pa ang aasikasuhin para lang makauwi,” another said.
