PUP STUDENTS YET TO RECEIVE MODULES

/ 13 January 2021

SEVERAL students of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines complained that they have not received their modules yet and asked the university to extend the deadline for the submission of requirements.

The school set the submission deadline on February 13, 2021.

The students turned to Facebook to vent their concern on the non-delivery of instructional materials.

“NAKATANGGAP NA KAYO? HAHAHAHAHA SANA ALL,” one student said.

“How about us who haven’t received our modules yet?? Any updates?!” another quipped.

A student revealed that not even half of those under correspondence mode have received their instructional materials.

“Most of us are extremely worried about the current situation, especially with the looming deadline as the semester ends. I am hoping to receive an update as soon as possible regarding the matter at hand,” the student said.

The students asked the school to deliver their modules as soon as possible. They also sought the extension of the submission deadline, saying they cannot finish the modules on time.

A whistleblower from the university PUP earlier revealed that only a handful of modules were printed. However, the school claimed that the delay was due to quarantine restrictions.

PUP College of Communication Dean Dr. Divina Pasumbal told the POST that the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs will issue an advisory regarding the extension of the deadline for the submission of modules.
