A student of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines topped the Buhay Online Video Contest of the Commission on Higher Education-National Capital Region.

The competition, with the theme “PADYAK Para sa Pagbangon at Pag-angat ng Edukasyon,” is part of CHED’s first National Higher Education Day and its 27th Founding Anniversary celebration. It aimed to showcase the experience of Tertiary Education Subsidy grantees on online and flexible learning.

Mark Lazatin, who is taking Broadcast Communication, bested other contestants with his entry “Sagwan: Ang Aking Buhay Online.”

The entries were judged based on their originality, content, relevance to the theme, visual appeal, artistic value, communication potential of the video, technical quality, effects and transitions of the participants entry.

Only three winners were announced out of the top 10 entries that passed the pre-screening.
