/ 17 March 2024

THE Polytechnic University of the Philippines has partnered with Nitori Co., Ltd. to provide quality education to its students.

A memorandum of agreement was signed between the College of Arts and Letters, the Office of Student Financial Assistance, and Nitori.

“It’s our way of giving back to the community, and we chose PUP because we heard that students here are excellent, deserving, and hardworking,” Fuhimiko Sato of Nitori said.

On the other hand, CAL Dean Prof. Romeo Pena expressed his gratitude to the Nitori Foundation for opening doors and providing vital support for the success of students.

Under the agreement, students enrolled in CAL will be provided with scholarships as part of the initial phase of the collaboration.

These scholarships will cover various expenses, including tuition, miscellaneous fees, and other educational costs.

Meanwhile, eligible students will also have the opportunity for an immersive experience in Japanese culture as a unique aspect of the collaboration.

“A scholarship committee will oversee the selection process, ensuring transparency and fairness. Interested students can find detailed information about the application process on the official PUP website or by contacting the university’s scholarship office,” the school said.
