PUP EXTENDS PROCESSING OF DOCUMENTS FOR TRANSFEREES, SHIFTEES, RETURNEES

/ 4 September 2020

THE POLYTECHNIC  University of the Philippines Executive Committee has granted the appeal of the Office of the Student Regent and local councils to extend the processing for transferring, shifting, and returning students in the main campus of the university.

The admissions for the students were extended after the PUP Board of Regents approved the petition of the OSR to move the opening of the school year from September 14 to October 5.

OSR also stated that the sudden shift to Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine last August 3 delayed the release of needed requirements for students to process their applications.

The university is requiring returning students to submit scanned copies of re-admission form, informative copy of grades requested via [email protected], and curriculum sheet.

The documents needed for transferees are transfer application form, transcript of records or certified copy of grades with units per subject signed by the Registrar and with dry seal of the previous school, and PSA birth certificate.

The transferee must be an incoming second year student who has taken at least 36 units with no failing, dropped, withdrawn or incomplete grades and must be able to meet the GWA of 2.0 and above.

Both returning and transferee students must submit 2×2 colored pictures with white background and full name on the photo.

Students who want to shift programs must first contact the Dean of the College they choose to transfer.

Scanned copies of the needed documents should be emailed at the [email protected], starting from September 8 until September 18 this year.
