VILMA Santos, an employee of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, was hurt after getting hit by a stone during the commemoration of the 36th EDSA People Power Revolution on Friday.

Santos was hit on the right side of her head which caused swelling, support group for political prisoners “Kapatid” said on Twitter.

Santos was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Stones and other objects were reportedly seen coming from inside Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.

“Before that an egg was thrown at us, landing at our feet,” Kapatid officer Roni Dacillo said.

The group condemned the incident and called for an investigation.
