/ 22 February 2024

THE Philippines Science High School System partnered with the Nanolabs LRC Co. Ltd for the implementation of the Science Immersion Program.

A memorandum of agreement was signed between PSHS Executive Director Lilia Habacon and officials of Nanolabs Dr. Ryan Corpuz and Dr. Lyn Marie De Juan-Corpuz.

PSHS said the SIP allows PSHS scholars to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios and gain firsthand experience with the social dynamics of a workplace.

“The SIP not only supports a seamless transition from high school to the professional realm but also empowers scholars to acquire a diverse set of skills and values through work immersion in partner institutions,” it said.

Under the agreement, Nanolabs pledges to extend its commitment by imparting knowledge on nano-technology, energy storage, biomedical, and environmental solutions to the PSHS students through the SIP.

They also want to foster the spirit of inquiry, and critical thinking, and inspire the participating students to become change-makers in the world.
