PNU USC DEMANDS RELEASE OF FUNDS
THE UNIVERSITY Student Council of the Philippine Normal University demanded the release of its funds for fiscal year 2020-2022.
The council said that it has yet to receive its allocation due to red tape and bureaucracy.
It lamented that it is more difficult now to get the funds to be released.
This led to the shelving of several projects. Sometimes, students leaders have to use their own money, the group said.
The council has been granted more than P920,000 for January to December 2022 under the USC Act No 006.
The PNU administration has yet to issue a statement regarding the matter.
