THE UNIVERSITY Student Council of the Philippine Normal University spearheaded a donation drive with the aim of helping co-students prepare for online classes.

Through ‘Project TANGLAW,’ the council aims to help ‘underprivileged’ students cope with the ‘new normal’ system of education, which will be primarily done online.

TANGLAW stands for Technology Assistance in the New Normal Thru Gadget for Learning and Work.

The student council posted the donation drive on its official Facebook page.

As per its post, donors can give used phones or brand new ones, mobile wifi, and cash which will be distributed to the students.

To help with the facilitation and distribution, the council partnered with the Office of the Vice President for University Relations and Advancement.

The donor can also give a message of inspiration to their donee as per the issued donation form.

Meanwhile, PNU has yet to announce its official date of opening of classes but has backed the proposed date of August 24.
