THE PHILIPPINE Normal University earned a three-star rating in the Quacquarelli Symonds, a London-based independent compiler of the World University Rankings.

A three-star university means that it is nationally recognized and may have begun to earn global acknowledgment. Also, its graduates are appealing to employers.

The university scored high in Employability, Teaching, Education and Training, Facilities, and Inclusiveness.

“We are pleased to inform everyone that the Quacquarelli Symonds Intelligence Unit, through a rigorous and independent data collection and analysis of performance metrics as set out in the QS Stars methodology, has rated PNU as a three stars institution,” the school announced on Facebook.

It said that QS provided recommendations “to further enhance Internationalization initiatives and Social Responsibility.”

QS Star is a rating system that provides a detailed look at an institution. Students can use it as a basis in identifying which universities are the best in terms of research, teaching, academic development, employability, internationalization, facilities, among others.
