THE Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig inaugurated on Wednesday the completed renovation project, showcasing an array of modernized facilities aimed at enhancing the overall learning experience of its students.

The newly renovated PLP facilities boast a freshly painted facade and lobby. The facade and lobby serve as welcoming gateways, setting the stage for a conducive environment for learning and growth.

Among the notable upgrades is the installation of brand-new passenger elevators, ensuring smooth and efficient transportation for students, faculty, and visitors alike. These elevators not only enhance accessibility but also underscore PLP’s commitment to providing a seamless experience for everyone within the campus community.

Furthermore, PLP is thrilled to unveil its newly revamped auditorium, equipped with cutting-edge audiovisual technology and LED wall to accommodate a wide range of academic and cultural events.

PLP takes great pride in its newly constructed gymnasium, providing students with a dedicated space to engage in physical fitness activities and sports.

Mayor Vico Sotto emphasized the significance of a sense of ownership for students and stakeholders of the university, urging them to maintain the facilities. Mayor Sotto also emphasized the local government’s continued commitment to enhancing the quality of education.

“Bilang inyong lokal na pamahalaan, asahan po ninyo kung ano pang pwedeng maitulong at ano pang pwedeng gawin para mapalakas pa ang ating unibersidad at para makatulong sa ating mga mag-aaral, hindi po tayong magdadalawang-isip. Lahat po ng ginagawa natin ay para sa inyong mga mag-aaral at kabataan,” Sotto said.

“Kasabay ng ating pagpapaganda sa ating inang pamantasan ay ang patuloy na pagpapaunlad natin sa kalidad at husay ng ating edukasyon,” said PLP University President Dr. Reggie Maningas.
