SECOND year to fifth year students of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila have received their allowance for the months of September and October.

First year students were advised to wait for further announcement regarding their allowances as Landbank is still processing their cash cards.

The P1,000 cash aid was released on Wednesday, December 7 to enrollees who are bonafide residents of Manila City, university President Emmanuel Leyco said

“We thank the City Government of Manila for the continued support to our dear students. This is a continued investment in education and in the Filipino youth,” Leyco said.

Over 9,000 undergraduate students are benefiting from the Social Amelioration Program of the city.

The monthly cash aid is on top of the annual subsidy provided by the city to the university for its day-to-day operations and capital expenditures.
