A STUDENT group from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila denounced Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso for warning them against joining election-related protests.

Earlier, Domagoso said that he will not allow the facilities of the PLM and the Unibersidad de Manila to be used for political activities.

He also warned the students against joining protests as he claimed that they are just “being used by a few individuals.”

The Bukluran Student Alliance accused Domagoso of leveraging to have a position at President-elect Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.’s cabinet.

“Sa mga kapwa namin estudiyante sa PLM at UDM, bilang lubos na matatamaan ng malawakang implementasyon ng batas, huwag tayong matakot at tuloy lang sa paglaban at pagkilos. Dahil kung walang maglalakas ng loob ay patuloy na magiging ganito ang sistema,” the alliance said in a statement.

“Hindi tayo pasisiil. Sama-sama tayo sa labang ito. Sama-sama tayo sa pagtigil ng pagtanggal ng boses ng mga mamamayan. Patuloy tayong magiging kritikal, patuloy pa rin tayong lalaban,” it added.
