/ 17 June 2021

THE PAMANTASAN ng Lungsod ng Maynila will resume the release of cash cards to students who are bona fide Manila residents.

PLM said students will receive financial aid under the Social Amelioration Program of the city government of Manila.

“Thousands of PLM will gain access to their monthly allowances through ATM cards issued by the Land Bank of the Philippines,” the university said.

“Cash cards will be distributed by Landbank staff in batches on June 19, 20, and 24 carrying allowances for the first six months of the year 2021,” it added,

PLM said students will be notified via their email addresses on when they can claim the cash card. The school also advised them to print or save a screenshot of the said email.

“Only those who receive these notices will be allowed entry. To enforce social distancing, PLM will implement a scheduling system: June 19: Students with surnames from ‘Aba’ to ‘Estolero’, June 20: ‘Estopace’ to ‘Olasiman’ and June 24: ‘Olat’ to ‘Zuniga’, the school said.

PLM said learners must also bring a copy of their enrollment record, signed cash card application form, and 2 pieces of a 2 x 2 ID picture.

They also need to accomplish a health declaration form and undergo health screening before entering the campus and sign a Data Privacy consent form prior to card issuance.

In accordance with banking regulations, the university reminded the students that cash cards will only be released to them and not to their parents or other representatives.
