PLM PHYSICAL THERAPY STUDENTS TO HAVE F2F CLASSES IN APRIL

/ 1 April 2022

PHYSICAL Therapy students of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila will resume face-to-face classes on April 4.

PLM said it will offer in-person skill-based courses including human anatomy and introduction to physical therapy and patient care for freshmen; and orthopedic PT, assistive technologies, and integumentary PT for second year students.

On the other hand, pediatric PT, geriatric PT, and neurologic PT2 will be offered for junior learners while graduating learners will resume their internship program.

“We are thrilled to take more classes out of the online realm back to in-person learning sessions. Two years of distance education has been too long. We want to enhance our students’ learning by bringing back face-to-face classes,” President Emmanuel Leyco said.

“We will ensure that minimum health protocols will be adhered to as we bring our students back to the campus,” he added.

To protect the students during physical classes, the university conducted a meeting to various stakeholders last March 30.

“The College of Medicine and College of Nursing are also offering select courses under the face-to-face mode of learning,” the school said.
