PLM PAYS TRIBUTE TO FORMER COLLEGE OF LAW DEAN

THE PAMANTASAN ng  Lungsod ng Maynila paid tribute to its former College of Law Dean and professor who succumbed to complications of pancreatic cancer.

Atty. Ed Vincent Albano, 71,  who died on August 27, was also a former Regional Trial Court judge and put out several law books including the Albano Bar Review Center.

“Dean Ed’s enthusiasm in teaching young minds will be truly missed. We are one with the entire law community in praying for the eternal repose of his soul,” College of Law Dean George Erwin Garcia said as posted on PLM’s Facebook page.

The San Beda College-Alabang Legal Aid Center also paid tribute to the “helpful” lawyer in the legal community and promised that his teachings will be duly remembered.

Likewise, the FEU Institute of Law paid tribute to its undergraduate and law alumnus.

Atty. Francesca Lourdes Señga gave a heartwarming remembrance to the deceased lawyer with a photo of Albano playing basketball with a caption: “Our Dean Albano is now playing basketball with our Dean Riano in heaven. Rest in peace, Dean Ed Vincent Albano.”

Albano’s remains lie in state at the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque from August 29 to 31, and will be laid to rest a day after.
