PISAY STUDENTS WIN IN GLOBAL SCIENCE BREAKTHROUGH CHALLENGE

PHILIPPINE Science High School main campus students were victorious in the Global Science Breakthrough Challenge 2022 by the Organizing Center for STEM Olympiad.

Keona Rae, Marco Raphael Liceralde, Filber Ubanos and Jonathan Cuadro bagged the gold award.

Meanwhile, Kevin William Castro, Francesca Tumaneng, Sophia Dela Rosa and Joshua Masangkay won the silver award.

The students were mentored by Boon Lauw, who also served as their coach.

The PSHS commended the students.

“We are proud of you!” the school said in a Facebook post.

The GSBC is a competition for students from all over the world to create breakthroughs in science.

OCSO is an organization engaged in STEM development to create 21st century skills such as critical thinking, creative thinking, collaborations, communication and computational thinking through competitions, contests and olympiads.
