PISAY CARAGA STUDENTS SHINE IN HONG KONG INT’L SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
STUDENTS from the Philippine Science High School Caraga campus won in the recently concluded 2022 Hong Kong International Science Olympiad Heat Round.

Julia Cay Manatad, Cris Abrea and Elan Victoria Tomaneng won the gold medal.
James Ambrose Torrean and Alessandra Gabrielle Aguilar, on the other hand, bagged the silver medal.
The students were coached by Ann Tibe, Jay Maique and Vincent Campos.
HKISO is an International Science Competition held annually. It consists of 4 main categories: Physics, Biology, Chemistry & Integrated Science.
The competition is for students from Grade 2 to Grade 12. It follows the Hong Kong School Science Syllabus and tests what students have learned on their level of content.
Winners in the Heat Round can have a chance to work with participants from different regions to try out some experiments in Singapore or Hong Kong.
