A STUDENT publication of the Philippine Science High School System Caraga region campus bagged several awards in the National Youth Science, Technology, and Innovation Festival.

The Thirteenth Scholar was the grand winner in Gawad Dalumat.

It also received the Best Science School Publication and Top Science Stories Awards.

PSHS commended the student publication for its achievement.

“Husay Pisay Campus Journalists. Bravo, The Thirteenth Scholar. We are proud of you,” it said on Facebook.

Organized by the Department of Science and Technology, the NYSTIF aims to increase the awareness of the youth on science and technology and to encourage them to pursue career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
