AN alumna of the Philippine Science High School Eastern Visayas campus finished her bachelor’s degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with flying colors.

Hillar Diane Andales completed her BS in Physics Minor in Astronomy + Minor in Science, Technology and Society.

She received the Order of the Lepton Award, Barrett Prize for outstanding research in astrophysics, Joel Matthew Orloff Award for Service, and AMITA Senior Academic Award.

She similarly obtained the Albert G. Hill Prize, DeWitt Wallace Prize for Science Writing for the Public, Enterprise Poets Prize for Imagining a Future, Phi Beta Kappa Inductee, and Sigma Pi Sigma Inductee.

The PSHS commended Andales for her achievements.
