PHILIPPINE WOMEN’S U GRAD TOPS NURSING LICENSURE EXAM
A Philippine Women’s University graduate topped the Nursing Licensure Examination given this month.
Haydee Soriano Bacani led the successful examinees after getting a rate of 89.40 percent.
The Professional Regulation Commission said 5,008 out of 7,746 passed the exam.
Liezl Tuazon from Angeles University Foundation in Pampanga placed second with a rate of 89 percent, while Marlchiel Nathan Arreglado of Saint Paul University Tuguegarao, and Ana Maria Kim Vallente of Capitol University in Cagayan de Oro both ranked third with 88.60 percent.
The three were followed by Gregg Philip Palabrica of Ateneo de Davao University, Francis Miguel Rosales of University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, and Micah Junabel Ventanilla of Urdaneta City University in Pangasinan, all at fourth with similar rate of 88.40 percent.
Yuljohn Beriña II from the University of the Philippines-Manila, Angelie Mae Sophia Bonifacio of Bulacan State University-Malolos, Renzo John Philip Cabagay of Silliman University had 88.20 percent for fifth place.
At sixth with 88 percent are Niña Loren Cabuniag from Cotabato Medical Foundation College Anne Lauryn Lopez of UPM, Neil Orehuela of Holy Name University in Bohol, and Erica Mae Ortiz from University of Santo Tomas.
Bunched at seventh place are Jaeu Jade Alexis Cala of Cebu Doctors University, Crisela Areola of Lorma College in Pampanga, Luizel Dominguez from Naga College Foundation, Hannah Paula Fabregas of UPM, Bernadette Ilidan of CU, Raffy Lanogan of University of Cebu-Banilad, Anna Clarissa Panes of Our Lady of Fatima University-QC, Jaidee Rojas of UPM, and Julie Pearl Tubal of CU, all with 87.80 percent.
Completing the Top 10 list are Princess Haniefa Mae Ayunan of Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (87.60), Cheralyn Joy Barbacena of University of Nueva Caceres (87.60), Iris Krystal Khan of Trinity University of Asia (87.60), Fatima Sheryl Agcaoili of SPU-Tuguegarao (87.40), Kiara Joynina Agoncillo from De La Salle Medical & Health Sciences and Institute (87.40), Trillcey Rose Azcarrate of Mati Doctors College (87.40), Rylina Olga Mae Balisong of UST (87.40), Rochelle Marie Bangalao of CU (87.40), Carlo Bersamira of World Citi Colleges (87.40), Christine Joanne Contreras of UST (87.40), Psalm Christian Diesto from Central Philippine University (87.40), and Rica Hernandez of Chinese General Hospital Colleges (87.40).
Others in the top bracket of the list are are Mary Margarette Quintos from Manila Tytana Colleges, Inc. (87.40), Kathryn Isabel Sotto of SU (87.40), Yashmine Ancheta of SPU-Tuguegarao (87.20), Adrian Paul Ang of UPM (87.40), Melissa Anne Estrada of Dr. Carlos S. Lanting College-Q.C. (87.20), Athena Ainu Malecdan of Saint Louis University in Baguio (87.20), Maxine Medija of UC in Lapu-Lapu & Mandaue (87.20), Jemaima Morales from Jose Rizal University-Dapitan (87.20), Marvin Jay Salvador of DLSMHSI (87.20), Windle Jean Taylor of University of Pangasinan (87.20), and Kristenne Joy Turqueza of SLU (87.20).
Meanwhile, the top performing schools with 50 or more examinees with at least 80 percent passing percentage are SLU in Baguio (100), SPU-Tuguegarao (96.08), University of Pangasinan (96.08), Capitol University in Cagayan de Oro (93.42), Lorma College in Pampanga (90), University of the Cordilleras (88.24), BSU-Malolos (84.21), Davao Doctor Colleges Inc. (83.61), Arellano University-Manila (82.26), and Liceo de Cagayan University (81.97).
