PHILIPPINE SCIENCE HS STUDENTS SHINE IN INT’L COMPETITION
FOUR students of the Philippine Science High School bagged awards in this year’s Singapore International Science Challenge.
Vaugh Matthew Valle of the PSHS-Central Visayas Campus received the “Universal Award” under the Field and Design-Build Category.
On the other hand, Dona Marabe, Vaughn Ramos, and Tom Alipio of the main campus won the “Best in the Sustainable Energy Category” award for the “development of a slow drift motion-based water turbine.”
Ervin Santos served as the research adviser of the students.
The Singapore International Science Challenge ‘21 was held online from March 13 to 15.
Established in 2007, the SISC seeks to bring together science students from around the world to compete, collaborate and innovate in science.
