A TEAM of Filipino students has won the 2024 Barcelona Zero-Gravity Challenge held in Spain.

Team GRABE was recognized for their research on the cushioning properties of shear-thickening fluids in zero-gravity conditions.

The team members include Danielle Sumanoy Baldono from Ateneo de Manila University, Juan Migelle Ferido and Florenz Eugenio from De La Salle University, and Michelle Dote from National University-MOA.

Following their victory, the team plans to travel to Barcelona this December to showcase their student-developed device at Sabadell Airport in Catalonia.
