PANGASINAN STATE UNIVERSITY IMPLEMENTS RFID SYSTEM
THE PANGASINAN State University implemented a Radio Frequency Identification System to minimize physical contact and protect its employees.
PSU employees will receive contactless timekeeping systems to ensure accurate records of attendance and to mitigate the spread of Covid19 in campuses.
“PSU strengthens the full implementation of contactless timekeeping systems to all university employees as an alternative to manual Daily Time Record by using Radio Frequency Identification Systems,” The school said on Facebook.
“The purpose of the RFID system is not just to ensure accurate record of attendance, but most importantly, to help mitigate the spread of Covid19 and ascertain individuals entering the university for security purposes,” it added.
The distribution of IDs will be until February 26, 2021.
Employees who failed to secure their ID will be barred from entering the campus starting March 2021.
