PANGASINAN STATE U TO EXPAND CAMPUS RADIO STATION
THE PANGASINAN State University will expand its Campus Radio Station to share knowledge on community development with more people.
PSU recently inked a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Agriculture to help disseminate research studies through radio waves to nearby agricultural places.
The university said the expansion will also enhance the laboratory training of its communication students.
PSU will use the name DZPS with a radio frequency of 101.3 MHz once the station is operational.
It also built a broadcast studio and management office with broadcast equipment and training components for radio broadcasting in 2021.
A five-year operation and financial plan will be created by PSU and DA for the project.
