STUDENTS of the Pangasinan State University received financial assistance from the provincial government of Pangasinan.

Governor Amado Espino III said on Facebook that the cash grants were given to 1,770 students from different campuses.

Those who received assistance were from the PSU campuses in Lingayen, Urdaneta City, Asingan, Alaminos, Infanta, San Carlos City and Sta. Maria.

The cash aid amounted to P17.7 million.

“Mataas ang standard na nai-set since the time of former Governor Amado Espino Jr. para sa mga scholars. Ito naman po ang pinapalawig natin at dinadagdagan pa,” Espino said.

The scholarship program was institutionalized through Provincial Ordinance No. 205, series of 2017.
