THE PANGASINAN State University has postponed its online graduation to heed the request of parents to view the event on a weekend.

The graduation was scheduled today, November 25, 2020 at 1 p.m. and will be live streamed on PSU’s official Facebook page.

“The office of the PRPIO has received overwhelming requests from the parents to conduct the very first Virtual Graduation Ceremony on weekends. According to the parents, the said graduation rites will be an avenue for their families to gather and celebrate,” PSU said on Facebook.

“Thus, to honor such requests, the very first Virtual Graduation Ceremony will be moved on November 28, 2020, at 1 p.m. via official Facebook account: Pangasinan State University and Youtube account: PSU PRPIO,” it added.

The PSU encouraged all students to watch the live stream. Graduating students were also advised to participate in the online programs.

PSU also encouraged graduates and parents to post their pictures on social media using the hashtag #PSUVirtualGraduation2020. The university will pick 10 best photos and the owners will be given special prizes.
