PANGASINAN STATE U DISTRIBUTES TABLETS TO STUDENTS, TEACHERS

/ 20 December 2020

THE PANGASINAN State University distributed tablets to its faculty members and some students to help them in this age of distance learning.

Some 636 tablets were given to faculty members in nine campuses and 250 tablets to ‘deserving’ students as part of the school’s answer in the implementation of flexible learning.

Faculty Association Head Hon. Regent Elmer Vingua told members of the school faculty to continue giving quality education despite teaching through distance learning.

“Aking hinihikayat ang lahat ng mga empleyado na makakatanggap ng naturang tablets na lalong paghusayin at pagbutihin ang serbisyo at kalidad ng edukasyon sa kabila ng bagong normal,” he said.

Vingua led the distribution proceedings held last Friday together with Student Regent Je-Ann De Vera in collaboration with university officials headed by Dr. Dexter Buted.

Meanwhile, PSU continues to find ways in further enhancing the enforcement of flexible learning mechanisms. It aims to optimize student-teacher learning and teaching without compromising the competency-based learning outcomes despite the trying times.
