PALAWAN STATE U SUSPENDS SYNCHRONOUS CLASSES UNTIL SUNDAY

/ 15 October 2021

THE PALAWAN State University has suspended synchronous classes until Sunday.

The decision was made in consideration of those badly affected by typhoon Maring.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said at least five persons were killed in Palawan which was hit by flash floods.

“No class requirements, including modules, should be due during these dates. Thus, flexibility shall be applied on the deadlines of submission of these classroom requirements,” PSU said on Facebook.

“Special considerations should be given to students who were unable to report to class or participate in scheduled synchronous and asynchronous activities due to inclement weather or its aftermaths,” it added.

Students were allowed to redo their academic requirements which were given on October 11-13.
