PALAWAN STATE U STUDENTS CHAMPIONS IN MUSICAL ENSEMBLE

EIGHT students of the Palawan State University were hailed as overall champion in the “Paskong Kantagalugan” of the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants Region 4 Council.

The team garnered a score of 94.55 percent.

The PSU’s Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants congratulated the team for bagging the People’s Choice Champion and overall champion award.

Paskong Kantagalugan, a musical ensemble of JPIAn singers, was organized by the NFJPIA, the official student body of the Accountancy students in CALABARZON and MIMAROPA.

One of the participants in the contest,  Alfred Miraflores, said that he was grateful to be part of the event.

“I am grateful to have collaborated with such talented students. I am really astonished sa talent and drive for positivity ng team MIMAROPA,” Miraflores said.

The PSU’s Blanca Valledor, Charrise Balcueba, Rome Entia, Joyce Gonzaga, Cristine Joy Dalit, Kathlyn Alika B. Davatos, Marijul Halal Jemino Yarra, and Alfred Miraflores edged out six teams from various colleges in Region 4.

Rizal province students placed second for their rendition of “Star ng Pasko” while students from Batangas got the third prize for their song “Tuloy na tuloy pa rin ang Pasko.”
