OVER 9.6K SHS STUDENTS TAKE MSU-SAE 2024

MORE than 9,600 senior high school students took the Mindanao State University-Systems Admission and Scholarship Examination, the MSU-IIT said over the weekend.

The university said that the number of examinees increased from the previous year’s count of over 6,000 examinees.

“Security has been strengthened at the university, and measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of the examinees,” it said.

The exam was spearheaded by the Office of Admissions, Scholarships and Grants.

It was conducted in four batches: two in the morning and two in the afternoon. The examinees took tests on science, math, language, and aptitude.

Additional testing centers are the Tubaran National High School in Barangay Mandulog of Iligan; Bukidnon National High School in Malaybalay; Bukidnon National School of Home Industries in Maramag; Ignacio Tan Integrated School in Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental; Ozamiz National High School in Ozamiz City; Misamis Occidental National High School in Oroquieta City; Sergio Osmeña National High School in Zamboanga del Norte; and in Bislig National High School in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur.

MSU-SASE was also held at one testing center located at the MSU-Manila Information Office in Ermita, Manila.

Overseeing the activity and ensuring the smooth conduct of the said examination were Chancellor Alizedney Ditucalan, Vice Chancellor for Public Affairs Nancy Echavez, OASG Director Jocelyn Vilela, and faculty and staff who served as supervising examiners and proctors.
