ONLINE CLASSES AT UST STAY FOR AY 2021-2022

/ 4 July 2021

THE UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas will continue to hold online classes for Academic Year 2021-2022.

The school announced the retention of its so-called ‘enriched virtual mode’, the university’s remote learning strategy, in the next academic year.

The method, which makes use of synchronous and asynchronous learning strategies using the UST Cloud Campus and other platforms, was introduced in the first term of AY 2020 to 2021.

It noted that despite the extension of its remote learning setup, it would prepare its campus for the resumption of limited face-to-face classes in more programs.

“Protocols will be announced to concerned stakeholders once government approval is obtained,” the administration said.

CHED earlier allowed four medical and health programs in UST to conduct limited face-to-face classes.
