OUR Lady of Fatima University – Valenzuela urged its students, faculty and employees to participate in a blood donation event on October 16 and 17.

“Let’s unite in this act of compassion and save lives together,” the school said.

Interested donors are required to register online before participating in the event.

OLFU said that donors must weigh at least 50 kilograms, must have enough sleep, have eaten before the blood letting and has not taken alcohol or any medications 24 hours before the donation.

The mass blood donation drive was organized by OLFU Valenzuela – Red Cross Youth Organization and will run from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
