/ 19 March 2022

THE OCCIDENTAL Mindoro State College and non-government office D’Aboville inked a pact on Tamaraw and Indigenous People research.

Under the Memorandum of Agreement signed by officials of the two institutions, D’Aboville will provide a lecture series, reading materials, and student internship opportunities.

The OMSC, on the other hand, will “carry the primordial role of raising awareness and education” on the “life treasures” in the province.

The college said that the NGO is at the forefront of Tamaraw conservation and research.

It was established in 2004 and has played a crucial role in the preservation and protection of Tamaraw and Mangyan groups.
