THE NUEVA Vizcaya State University has started the vaccination of its students.

NVSU on Wednesday said that 187 students received their first dose of Covid19 vaccine at the Nueva Vizcaya Convention Center.

Officials of the Commission on Higher Education in Region 2 witnessed the vaccination drive.

Officer-in-Charge President and Regent Ruth Rana Padilla said that the initiative was made possible through the help of Nueva Vizcaya’s Provincial Local Government Unit and Provincial Integrated Health Office of the province.

The university said that the vaccination drive is also in preparation for the conduct of face-to-face classes next year.

The CHED earlier awarded NVSU a P7.2 million grant to help transform the university into a smart campus.
