NUEVA VIZCAYA STATE U DEFERS NAMING NEW PRESIDENT

/ 26 August 2022

THE NUEVA Vizcaya State University deferred the naming of its new president because of the damage wrought by Severe Tropical Storm Florita.

The school was set to name its new president on Wednesday, August 24, after the University Board of Regents held its Special Board Meeting.

However, the Commission on Higher Education did not push through with the plan as it monitored instead the state of its regional offices.

The new president will replace Officer-in-Charge Dr. Ruth Raña Padilla.

Padilla has occupied the position for more than a year.

NVSU has yet to set a new date on the naming of its new president.
