NORSU ACCOUNTANCY DEPT HOLDS PINNING CEREMONY

/ 2 December 2022

FIFTY-SEVEN senior students of the Negros Oriental State University Accountancy Department had the honor of participating in the school’s first-ever pinning ceremony.

Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants President Paul John Anthony Fortuito of NORSU said that the activity aimed to recognize students’ efforts as they start their internship.

Dean Ildefe Villanueva, Accountancy Department Chair Ma. Rosalina Besario, CBA faculty, and VPAF Noel Marjon Yasi were present during the event.

“It [event] gives a sense of accomplishment for both fourth-year students and parents and raises the morale of the students. The harvest always tastes sweeter with the downpour of rain,” the school said.

To prepare for face-to-face classes and physical events such as the pinning ceremony, the school held a virtual open forum for parents and students.
