THE NORTHERN Iloilo Polytechnic State College – Victorino Salcedo campus was severely damaged by Tropical Storm Agaton.

In a Facebook post, the school said that its information and communications technology facility, laboratory, classrooms, offices, fence and electronic equipment were either washed out or badly hit by floods.

This prompted the school to appeal to the public for donations to help rebuild its facilities.

“The NIPSC-VSC is reaching out to your generous hearts for its gradual restoration, especially its perimeter fences and grounds for the safety and security of its students, personnel, and properties,” it said. “Your benevolence will surely go a long way in the rehabilitation of the College.”
